NASA plans for Mars
Attended a presentation today about NASA plans for Mars. Meh. Lots of the same old same old.
Inflatables. ISRU. Pretty pictures. Discussion of how to land large vehicles in an atmosphere less than 100th density of Earth.

They obviously don’t understand yet that the technical problems are nothing (NOTHING) compared to the economic and political problems involved in getting to Mars.

Or, if they do, they aren’t talking about them.
